If you are a truck owner and live in America, you probably have known that America’s highways can be very dangerous. You may have rolled up hundreds of thousands of miles and see plenty of your brethren involved in truck accidents that are usually avoidable and not the fault of the trucker. Insurance companies say the most dangerous thing the average American ever does is go for a drive on the highway. Therefore, you should do a few things to make the roads safer and help avoid truck accidents.

The biggest thing you can do on the road to make you safer is to pay attention, and this is getting tougher and tougher to do. Most of us do a lot of things at the wheel that we shouldn’t. We talk and text on our cell phones while eating chips and even watching a movie on the car’s built in DVD player. Never do this again!
